Ciren lose to Shortwood in entertaining Red Insure Cup tie
Southern League Red Insure Cup – First Round
Cirencester Town 2 – 4 Shortwood United
On Tuesday Cirencester Town hosted Shortwood United in the First Round of the Red Insure Cup.
Both sides fielded sides containing a number of young inexperienced players from their Development/ Reserve teams and they contested a very entertaining match which Shortwood won through two goals each from Josh Egan and Ross Langworthy. Ciren's goals were scored by Jack Smith and an own goal by Jake Lee.
