First Team win at home to Clevedon to resume winning ways
The Calor League – Division One South & West
Cirencester Town 7 – 0 Clevedon Town
After our disappointing defeat at league leaders Merthyr Town on Saturday, Cirencester Town hosted Clevedon Town who had also beaten us at their ground in November last year.
Ciren quickly established an early lead through goals from Lee Smith, Mark Pritchett and Leigh Henry to lead 3-0 at half-time.
Despite a determined display from Clevedon early in the second half, Ciren scored four more goals through James Mortimer Jones, another from Lee Smith and a late brace by Jody Bevan.

This coming Saturday, 8th March, we entertain Stratford Town who are having an excellent first season in the Calor League and on Tuesday had an impressive 3-2 win at home to third placed Mangotsfield United.
Come along and support the lads as they try to gain another win to maintain pressure on Merthyr Town at the top of the table.
