Ciren go back to the top of the league with battling win at Bridgwater

The Calor League – Division One South & West

Bridgwater Town 1 – 3 Cirencester Town

On Saturday, Cirencester Town travelled to Bridgwater Town, who had won 4-1 at the Corinium Stadium earlier in the season, and after going a goal down early in the game, fought back strongly in the second half to win 3-1 through two penalty goals from Lee Smith and a headed goal from Ellis Dunton.

With Merthyr Town losing 4-1 at Tiverton, Ciren went back to the top of the league table, two points ahead of Merthyr with a match in hand.
