Ciren go top of the league after battling win at North Leigh

The Calor League – Division One South & West

North Leigh 0 – 1 Cirencester Town

On Tuesday evening, Cirencester Town visited North Leigh in a match between the top two sides in the division, separated only by goal difference, and came away with a hard fought 1-0 win to knock North Leigh off top spot and go three points clear in first place.

In an entertaining match with both teams in great form, Aidan Bennett scored a well-taken first half goal to secure the points for Ciren.
