First Team overcome strong Evesham side after going behind early on
Calor League Division 1 S&W
Cirencester Town 2 - 1 Evesham United
Cirencester Town played their first home league match of the season on Tuesday against a strong Evesham United team that contained no less than six former Centurions.
After a bright start, Ciren went behind after six minutes through the inevitable goal from former player Marcus Palmer who seems to have the knack of always scoring against us.
Ciren however rallied strongly in the second half and secured a deserved win through goals from Lee Smith and Steve Davies.
