Cup Match

Cirencester Town U10s 10 - 0 Wotton Pumas

16th February 2013

Ciren started well, moving the ball around quickly and playing most of the game in the Wotton half.

A great ball slid through a small gap from Joel Worsfold, who commanded the game in the centre mid position, for Ben Carter to run onto and open the scoring account 1 - 0.

Aaron McKillop on 12 minutes was in the right place to pounce on a poor goal kick to open his tally and rifle the ball into the back of the net 2 - 0.

Ciren were well tuned into the pace of the game and kept pressing, a corner was won, Philip Macloughlin took it and floated it in and onto the head of Mcillop who headed the ball into the roof of the net 3 - 0. Macloughlin passed to Mcillop who then outskilled two defenders and popped the ball into the back of the net past the keeper for his hatrick, 4 - 0 at half time.

Ciren started the second half strong, camped in the Wotton box and only two minutes in, a bit of ping pong in the box saw Worsfold in the correct place 2 yards out for a tap in. 7 minutes into the second half saw Carter from outside the area have a good strike into the top corner of the net.

William Dyer burst down the right to cross for Aaron Burcham to get onto the end of with a great right foot shot into the net. Next goal was the move of the match, Dyer to Bradley to Burcham then back of the net. Burcham then turned provider for Dyer with a great cross from the left side for William to score left footed.

Finally it was Bradleys’ turn to get on the score sheet with a fine finish from a corner.10 - 0.
