Under 10s convincingly beat Rodborough U10s

The opening goal came from a Luke Pennington corner that Aaron Mcillop get onto to put the ball in the back of the net.
Ciren's confindence suddenly grew and Joel Worsfold, drove the ball into the area that deflected off a defender and into the net. Pennington, who had a great game, took the ball from his own half and dribbled round round 3 Rodborough players and put the ball in the back of the net.
Mcillop, who from a goal mouth scramble managed to squeeze the ball into the corner of the goal going into half time.
2nd half, Rodborough had a goal kick that Pennington pounced on to score. Pennington then had a cross deflected for an own goal.
Mcillop and Pennington combined for a great one-two, and saw the ball in the back of the net. Mcillop, not to be out done jinked and weaved through 3 Rodborough players to fill the net. Rodborough then pinched a goal back making it 8 - 1.
Ciren then took control, all the pressure was on the Rodborough goal. Chance after chance went begging but finally the ball came back out to Pennington on the edge of the box who gracefully side footed the ball into the corner of the net. Eve Timbrell had a shot which took a deflection to make the final score 10 - 1.
