Under 10s start the season with a hard fought victory against Malmesbury Tornadoes

Malmesbury Tornadoes U10s 1 - 7 Cirencester Town U10s
The game started with end to end play with neither team having the upper hand.
After 15 minutes, William Dyer had a shot on goal which was saved, only to be knocked into the path of a charging Aaron Burcham who tapped in.
Malmesbury were straight back at Ciren and within 2 minutes had drawn level.
Jonny Floyd had a great shot from the edge of the area into the back of the net and not long after the re-star,t Aaron Burcham scored.
Malmesbury held their own and with 7 players behind the ball were making it difficult for Ciren to get shots off at goal at times.
A penalty was given for handball which William Dyer scored. A great through ball moments later from Aaron to William to get onto the end of to score for his second. Ollie Claxton-Newman then had a toe-poke from short range.
Ciren finished off the goal tally with the best move of the game. Joe Horner-Baggs picked up the ball in his own half burst down the right wing beating 3 players on the way, put in the perfect cross for William Dyer who only had to shape his foot to ping the ball high across the keeper and into the back of the net for his hatrick. 1 - 7.
