Under 10s into the League Cup Semi Final

Cotswold Youth League Cup

Slimbridge U10s 0 - 4 Cirencester U10s

Cirencester Town Under 10s were away to Slimbridge in the Cotswold Youth Cup. A win would guarantee Cirencester a semi final place, as the competition is on a league basis and Cirencester are at the top of the league.

Cirencester started the game with their excellent passing game and applied the pressure on a strong Slimbridge side. Harvey Lloyd found the back of the Slimbridge net with a fine driven shot for Cirencester to go 1-0 up.

Cirencester kept the pressure up and a Lloyd corner found the head of Jack Laughlan whose header was cleared off the line for the ever present Miles Arnold to calmly put the ball in the back of the net.

Slimbridge rallied and had a good spell, but this was only a minor setback for Cirencester and, after a neat few passes from the team, Lloyd again found the back of the Slimbridge net for Cirencester to go 3-0 up. Lloyd finished off the scoring when from a corner the goalkeeper turned the ball into his own net.

Another neat and tidy performance from the Cirencester Under 10s who are now in the semi final of the cup, with a game in hand. Cirencester finished the game as 4-0 winners

Scorers Harvey Lloyd 3 Miles Arnold 1
