Cirencester Town Under 14s were at home and their opponents for this Cheltenham Youth League game were Kingstanley Under 14s. This was a midweek evening game which was played under floodlights at the Corinium Stadium.
Cirencester immediately took the game to Kingstanley and were rewarded with a goal in the first minute which was converted by Elliot Pitt after a fine run down the right hand side of the pitch.
Soon after Cirencester were 2-0 up thanks to a cracker from 30 yards scored by Max Lloyd.
Cirencester were controlling the game and were stunned with a breakaway goal from Kingstanley. This spurred Cirencester on and Lewis Newman scored to go 3-1 up.
With Cirencester playing their best football of the season, with everyone contributing 100%, the win was inevitable.
Even though Kingstanley scored another goal, Cirencester ended up as 8-2 winners and with a chuffed manager in Rich Bridger.
