Under 14s through to County Cup Quarter Finals

Gloucestershire County Cup

Cirencester Town U14s 3 - 2 Swindon Village Bowmen U14s

Cirencester under 14s played Swindon Village Bowmen at home this week in the Glos County Cup. As expected the game started at pace with both teams competing well.
The Bowmen went ahead with a goal that was gifted to them by Cirencester. This of course spurred Ciren on and they quickly equalised with a goal by Newman.
Cirencester went ahead again with a goal by Newman. Once again Bowmen came back into the game by way of another Cirencester error.
The second half was a different game with Cirencester taking the game to the Bowmen. It was inevitable that Cirencester would score again with the amount of pressure that they were putting on Bowmen and they did with a goal from Middleton.
Cirencester finished the game as well deserved 3-2 winners. The score could have been more clear cut if it were not for the home team's errors in the first half.
This puts Cirencester into the quarter finals of the County Cup. The result was most pleasing as Bowmen are the County Cup holders and had not been defeated this season.
