Under 10s win away at Oaksey to go top of the table

Cotswold Youth League

Oaksey U10s 1 - 2 Cirencester Town U10s

After a fine run of 9 wins on the trot, Cirencester Under 10s were away to Oaksey hoping to keep their winning streak going with a win taking them to the top of the table.

The red and blacks started the game with their usual determination and grit and went ahead with a goal from Harvey Lloyd.

Keeping the pressure up on a battling Oaksey, Cirencester went 2-0 up with a goal from Miles Arnold.

Late into the game Oaksey were awarded a penalty which was initially brilliantly saved by Kieran Palmer only to be scored by the follow up.

Special mention goes to Max Davies and Ben Needs who played their best games in a Ciren shirt. The match ended with Cirencester winning 2-1 and placed as league leaders.
