Yate Town Tuesday Night

A quick reminder that Cirencester Town play host to Evo-Stik South & West side Yate Town at the Corinium Stadium on Tuesday night (8th November) in the Quarter Final of the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Trophy kicking off at 7.45pm.

The game has to be decided on the night therefore if the scores are level at full-time there will be extra-time and penalties if needed.

Yate Town are currently joint bottom of the South & West Division having not won a league game this season so far but having picked up five draws. They slipped to a close 1-0 defeat on Saturday to our local rivals Swindon Supermarine in the FA Trophy.

In their squad will be a former Centurion in the charismatic David Stone (pictured below) who will no doubt be looking to do well on his return to the Corinium Stadium.

Cirencester Town will be looking to bounce back from the two cup defeats suffered in the last week and get through to the semi finals of the Senior Competition in Gloucestershire.

It is hoped that Charlie Comyn-Platt, Ben Hunt and Jack Harris can all shake off injuries from the weekend to take their place in the starting line-up though the game may have come too soon for Mitchell Bryant to return after injuring his ankle in last weeks defeat at Frome Town.
