Under 9s back to winning ways at home to Rodborough

Cotswold Youth League

Cirencester Town U9s 18 - 0 Rodborough U9s

Cirencester started strong and sent an instant message of intent with a well taken goal after only 10 seconds from William Dyer.

Aaron Mckillop chased down a loose ball in the area and only had to beat the keeper, up popped Aaron Mc again to home in on a goalie's fumble to tap in.

Luke Pennington was next up, picking up the ball on the halfway line, danced through Rodboroughs midfield then their defence, to slot the ball into the net.

Second half and Kian Hawtin making a great run with a perfect cross into Luke Buck for a well taken goal. Luke then turned provider for Kian to score his first of the match.

Kian then scored another a minute later for his hatrick. Luke B was again on the score sheet when he out skilled the keeper with a one on one for a tap in. Ollie Claxton-Newman came from a defensive position and ran through everyone to slot home into the corner of the net.

Then up stepped Kai Genever from his left wing position to finish the morning off with a tap in at the back post.

Rodborough were a great sporting team, never stopped running and showed determination to the end.

MOM: Kian Hawtin.
