Signed In The Nick Of Time

With injuries decimating the Cirencester Town squad two signings have frantically been made just in time for them to take their place in the squad for tonights Red Insure Cup game at Frome Town.

Jack Harris

Jack Harris a young left-sided defender has been signed on a month's loan from Blue Square North side Gloucester City. Jack was signed by Gloucester City in 2008 from Bristol side Hallen. A bright prospect and one to look out for in the future, his performances in City’s inaugural season in the Blue Square North earned him he accolade of joint Supporters Player of the Season 2009/10. Ruled out of most of last season due to a broken leg he is regaining full fitness.

Jack will be with us until his loan expires on 3rd December so will be available for a total of 7 games as Gloucester City have kindly allowed Jack to be available for us in both the FA Trophy and GFA Senior Challenge Trophy. The club would like to thank David Mehew (Gloucester City Manager) for allowing Jack out to us and Shaun Wetson (Gloucester City Secretary) for all his help in sorting out the relevant paperwork in time.

Also signing on is young defender Damien Crudup a former Reading Scholar who has been training with Blue Square Premier side Bath City. Crudup was registered at Oxford City in pre season so again the club would like to thank Oxford City Manager Mike Ford for waiving the seven days and John Shepherd the Oxford City Secretary for also speedily processing the players transfer paperwork.
