One out One in

This week has seen one player released and one player signed in his place.

David Stone

Manager Brian Hughes took the decision to release striker David Stone who signed in the summer from Banbury Utd. "Stoney" showed signs of what he was capable of in pre season, particularly against Cheltenham Town but unfortunately things didn't move on from there once the league season had started and with Hughes looking to bolster his attacking options it was felt best that Stone moved on. Since news of his release broke he has now transferred to Evo-Stik South & West side Paulton Rovers and all at Cirencester Town wish David Stone all the best for the rest of the season.

Mitch Bryant

Taking Stone's place is striker Mitchell Bryant. Starting out at Manchester Utd's famous academy, Bryant then joined Reading and became a first year professional in 2008. During his time at Reading he was loaned out to Basingstoke Town in the Conference South and during that spell he scored a double hat-trick against Tuesdays opponents Weymouth FC. Since leaving Reading he has played for Gloucester City, Hungerford Town and Swindon Supermarine with whom he has joined Cirencester Town. Our thanks go to Judi Moore of Supermarine who completed the paperwork in time for Mitch to go straight into the squad for Saturdays game at home to Frome Town.
