Latest Signings

Cirencester Town are pleased to announce the following signings:

Young defender Zak Westlake who spent most of last season at right back but who has impressed greatly during pre season at centre back.

Centre back Matt Sysum who turned in a number of impressive performances towards the end of last season and who will be looking to fill the void left by the retired Lyndon Tomkins.

Last season's Player of the Year, Tom Etheridge has also re-signed after an excellent season and will be looking to maintain that form this season.

Midfielder Adam Mayo returns to the Corinium Stadium after a number of seasons away at the likes of Bishops Cleeve and more recently Hellenic side Hook Norton under the guidance of former Cirencester player Mark Boyland. Having impressed with his passing ability and no nonsense displays in the centre of midfield Mayo has earned a deal for the coming season.

A new signing to the club, centre back Andy Gunn who was formerly with Oxford Utd as a professional. Gunn has also seen service at Oxford City and Didcot Town and joins us after just missing out on a professional deal at Dundee in Scotland during pre season.

Manager Brian Hughes is close to finalising his squad although he is still looking to add more firepower to his attacking options.
