Rushden & Diamonds FC
With regards the situation concerning Rushden & Diamonds who were expelled from the Blue Square Nationwide Conference and were in talks to join the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division, the following statement has been issued today from League Secretary Jason Mills:
"I am writing to advise you that Rushden & Diamonds Football Club failed to meet the League’s conditions for entry into the Southern Football League by the due date of 6th July and as a consequence their membership will not be permitted for the forthcoming season"
