Read Brian's Views On Our First Team's Win At Cambridge
Brian Hughes has given his views on our superb 2-1 win on Saturday away at high flying Cambridge City in Danny Hall's latest Gaffer Tapes interview:
"That's our first away win at one of the top clubs and our fourth victory in a row so I am delighted the lads are ensuring that our season does not just peter out.
I thought we beat them fair and square.
The first half was pretty even but I don’t recall them having a shot.
Joner has hit a beauty from 30 yards out into the top corner and then Jody missed a sitter soon after before they got back in the game with an equaliser.
I thought Cambridge were a bit subdued given the position they are in; perhaps we surprised them by having a go....."
