Development Team Beat Highworth To Reach Cup Final
Our Development Team beat the runaway league leaders, Highworth Town, 2-0 on Tuesday evening at The Corinium in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Chairman's Reserve Challenge Cup Semi Final.
In an excellent overall team performance against a very experienced and successful side, our youngsters prevailed with both goals being scored by striker Paul Banks.
They will now play the winners of the other Semi Final between Thame United and Gloucester City (which is scheduled for this coming Saturday 23rd April 2011), in the Cup Final which is due to be played at Shrivenham FC's Ground on Tuesday 3rd May 2011. Kick off: 7:30pm.
