Read Brian's Views On The Sholing Match

Brian Hughes has given his views on Tuesday's 4-1 home defeat to Sholing in the Red Insure Cup in Danny Hall's latest Gaffer Tapes interview:

"I thought we were bright and lively for 75 minutes – the only problem was we were 3-0 down in the first 15 minutes.

It does not matter how bright and lively Connor Thompson and Carl Brown are going forward if we are going to concede such easy goals at the back.

We had four defenders around the scorer of their first goal and yet he had time to bring it down and bury it from three yards.

For the second goal, it was a simple ball over the top which time and again is our undoing...."
