Connor Wins Another International Call Up
Congratulations to Cirencester Academy student Connor Thompson who heard this week that he has been selected for this season's English School's Under 18 squad.
Connor, who is also rapidly establishing himeself as a regular in our First Team squad, will now join up with the English Schools squad for a training weekend at Lilleshall on the 27th to 28th January where the opposition will be Loughborough University. The final preparations for the International season will be completed in Malaga, where the opposition will be provided by the Academy of CF Malaga, one of Spain's top youth teams.
This is Connor's second international call up this year. In November Connor was selected for the English Colleges FA Under 19's National squad.
