Read Brian's Views On Our Home Loss To Supermarine

Brian Hughes has given his views on our disappointing 2-1 loss at home to Swindon Supermarine on Bank Holiday Monday in Danny Hall's latest Gaffer Tapes interview:

"It is the first time this season we have not looked ourselves and I was very disappointed that Supermarine did not have to work very hard to go away with all three points.

We did not go about our jobs with any intensity. We are obviously going to be beaten in this league, but I never expected us to go down without a scrap like we did today.

There was nothing wrong with the back four and the keeper – I think Marine had three shots and scored with two of them – but crucially they scored first so they had something to defend.

Unfortunately, our front two (with Jody an honourable exception when he came on) and the whole of the midfield were not up to par....."
