Brian Gives His Views On Our Draw At Halesowen
Read Brian Hughes' views on our battling 1-1 draw away at Halesowen Town on Saturday in Danny Hal's latest Gaffer Tapes interview:
"We were definitely holding our own when it was 11 v 11 and we were not really under the cosh after Marcus Palmer was sent off on the half-hour mark.
I believe he and the centre half have a bit of history and while Marcus got a bloodied lip from an elbow, I have no sympathy for him because if you retaliate you will be sent off.
The ref said he did not see the incident so I do take issue with the lino who originally said that Marcus was elbowed in the face – in which case both should have been sent off – but he later changed his story to ‘elbowed in the chest’...."
