Under 16's Complete League And Cup Double
Fresh from their League Cup Final success at Whaddon Road, our Under 16's team completed the League and Cup double by winning their last game of the season against Cleeve Colts Rovers 4-0 at The Corinium on Sunday:
Cirencester Town 4 - 0 Cleeve Colts Rovers
Cirencester Town Under 16's became the League Champions with this comfortable win and secured the Cheltenham Youth Football League and Cup double for 2009/10 season.
The all important goals came from Jordan Griffin, Josh Wring, Oli Jones and Jozef Freeman to give their side the title.
The Town needed to win this match, regardless of what went on elsewhere and the team stuck to their task throughout.
The Man of the Match was Charlie Buse.
Congratulations to the whole squad for their deserved success and to Coach Andy James, Kev Shail and Manager Mark Turfrey.
