Development Team Win Away At Letcombe To Close In On Title
Our Development Team showed great character to overcome the disappointment of losing at home to Letcombe on Thursday evening to prevail in the reverse fixture on Saturday.
Going into the two matches, Letcombe were the only team who could realistically prevent the Development Team from winning the league title, and after losing at home 3-1, Ciren dominated the second match with a much improved performance, winning 4-0 through a hatrick from Conor Teague and another goal from Ollie Pitt.
Ciren now sit proudly at the top of the league table again and only need a single point from their remaining two home games to make it mathematically certain that they will win the league title.
Come along to The Corinium on Tuesday evening to watch the team try to wrap the title up at home to Clanfield. The match kicks off at 6:30pm on one of the back pitches.
