Brian Gives His Views On The VT FC Match
Read Brian Hughes' views on our hard fought 0-0 draw away at VT FC in Danny Hall's latest Gaffer Tapes interview:
"A win would have given us some breathing space but it was important not to be beaten.
VT were bright and pacy up front but the defence coped well and that was our 13th clean sheet in the last 23 games which takes some doing.
We had much the better of the second half and I thought there was only going to be one team that won it – the major worry were their three corners right at the end.
It was a real morale-boosting result against a top team and we were not under that much pressure....."
