Four Ciren Players Selected For The SW Of England Schools Under 18 Squad
Four Cirencester Town players have been selected for the South West of England Schools Under 18 Squad.
The seventeen man squad will represent the South West against the South East in London on 15th November 2009. From this match, a joint squad will be selected to play Midlands and North at a weekend training camp at Lilleshall in January at which the Under 18 England Schoolboys team will be selected.
Worthy of note is that Ciren have a clean sweep of the centre back places in the SW squad with Corcoran, Williams and Mills.
Rob Hoskin is well known to Ciren fans having made a hugely impressive start to his first team career this season, whilst Adam Corcoran and Liam Williams have also made promising debuts for the first team.
Chris Mills is a key member of our Development Team, and has also scored three important goals so far this season from his position in the centre of our defence.
Peter Mills, Managing Director of QLM Ltd, stated "This is a great achievement by the boys to make the squad and as sponsor of the Development Team we are delighted that it is represented."
