Very Chuffed To Be A Centurion Today
Rarely comment on the News page about a match but having, at long last, got home after a somewhat disrupted journey home thought it was worth doing this time. And partly to let our 'exile' fans know as soon as possible what happened today. Report will follow tomorrow.
Didcot very, very slick and for the first 15 minutes I thought we would be overwhelmed. But - The Griff (still suffering from 'flu) got his game together and made their centre back earn his corn. We could have won it, to be honest, making their keeper put in more saves than a very safe Kingo.
And Minno was absolutely unbelieveable. Forget the Beckenbauer Minno. This was the - how shall I put this? - this was the Kevin Ratcliffe Minno today.
Nowt was going past him. As the majority of the 45 Ciren fans (how unbelievable was that?) said after the game, no contest about the vote for MoM for the Minno ... well played, you old rogue.
